MAKING A DIFFERENCE

IT’S THE LITTLE THINGS THAT MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE

There are several different ways to get involved with The EvenStart Foundation; such as  volunteering, donations, shopping our online Etsy store, and buying a scarf. Word of mouth, social media, and visiting the website are all great ways to share information regarding the organization. These things may seem simple but in reality make a significant impact to the awareness brought to the organization. The EvenStart Foundation would not be able to persist without the community support. 

Every Christmas we support up to 180 of our EvenStart families with the Annual Christmas Hamper Program. This is one of the biggest projects that we take on all year, this project ensures our families are able to experience a Christmas. The Annual Christmas Hamper Program kicks off in October and runs until the week before Christmas, when the families are delivered their hampers just in time for Christmas. Donations, gift cards, adopting a family, gifts are all ways to get involved.

Shaw Birdies for Kids presented by Altalink

 

Calling all Heroes!

 

 

Shaw Birdies for Kids(BFK) presented by AltaLink is a non-profit program run under the Calgary Shaw Charity Classic Foundation program designed to help raise funds for local charities, engage the community in the tournament, and provide matching funds for each charity involved. . The program itself acts as a partnership builder between donors and charities, as all money will flow through the Calgary Shaw Charity Classic Foundation towards Alberta charities.

This year we are super excited to announce that we will be participating in this campaign.

All donations made to The EvenStart Foundation through the Birdies For Kids campaign will be match up to 50%. 

Donations can be made on behalf of the EvenStart Foundation to the Shaw Charity Classic Birdies for Kids presented by Altalink campaign by clicking on the link and completing the donation form.
